Continue The Tour In Magic land of
China

The tropical island of Hainan
Hainan is a tropical island situated at the southern tip of China. Despite its small size, 28,000 square kilometers, and no farther than a hundred miles of the populous city of Guangzhou, has always been considered a world apart. Human and the natural boundary, the end of the land known by the vast ocean that lies to the south of China.
Although the first Chinese arrived in Hainan for more than two thousand years, its warlike inhabitants vigorously rejected all attempts to conquer, supported in a mountainous interior where rich forests and a large area of marsh infested tropical pests. So it is still home to two more features of the minorities in China: The Li (about one million) and Miao (40,000), with numerous villages where life goes in a traditional manner. In the rest of the island settlers centuries have been transformed throughout the centuries and the types of people will make us think we are not in China but in Vietnam or neighboring countries, adding that the typical conical straw hats of peasants Hainan are decorated with paper magazines, certainly for waterproofing, which gives it an original look frankly.

The most important feature of Hainan, which has launched him to fame in the rest of China, is not, however, the presence and the Miao Li descendants of the first settlers, but their beaches. Well actually, Hainan has miles and miles of sandy beaches, mostly untapped.

Those beaches that seem endless, occasionally emerges the figure of a hotel. The hotels, outside of urban centers, are still so separated, which almost seem an oasis in the desert sand.

In two major cities in Hainan: Haikou, Sanya and the capital, both connected to the rest of China for many flights. Although the provincial government wants to compare with Hawaii, and gradually becomes the destination of choice for congress or the more relaxed affairs, the truth is that in Hainan, the tropical wilderness and has not been dominated by man. Visit is still a good choice for travelers visiting China.

Hangzhou a paradise on earth

The capital of Zhejiang Province has a population of 1.6 million people. It is one of the most beautiful cities in China . Located on the shores Qiantang River, the famous West Lake in the west, Hangzhou has been embellished over the centuries by successive rulers. The construction of the Grand Canal during the Sui dynasty, which ended in this city, he did gain importance in the following centuries, so when China fell apart at the end of the Tang Dynasty, Hangzhou was the capital of dynasty Song of the South. The emperors were all in their zeal to turn this city into a wonderful poet and His Dongpo, mayor for several years it helped to create that image of Hangzhou that to happen later. Not in vain the Chinese have a saying "The sky is the paradise on earth, Suzhou and Hangzhou", and Marco Polo, when he visited in the thirteenth century, commented "It is the most elegant and luxurious in the world . In fact, some scholars claim that the fullness of the Chinese culture was not met with Tang Xian, but the Song of Hangzhou.

Destination for Chinese newlyweds, and place of pilgrimage for the people so receptive to the natural landscape, Hangzhou has managed to maintain a significant industrial and commercial, without damaging the beautiful scenery that history and nature has bequeathed.

The West Lake is Hangzhou's main attraction, around which are concentrated most of its tourist spots. In China there are 36 West Lakes, but Hangzhou is by far the most famous. It was once a bay of the Qiantang River, but the sludge deposited were separated from the river. From century villa in which the dam was dredged, successive governors of the city has spared no effort to beautify their surroundings. And with great success. The lake, shaped like a slightly irregular square of about 3 km on the side, is divided into 3 parts, the lake outside the main, the inland lake to the north, separated by a narrow dam Bai strip of land planted of willows and several stone bridges and the lake later in the west, separated by e1 dam Su. Inside the lake there are 4 islands, the only one of them which is natural which is called Lone Hill, which is connected to shore by the dam Bai. Inside there is Zhongshan Park, whose top is a great view of the lake and the city and the Provincial Museum. The other island is the Moon Reflected in Three Pagoditas. Is only accessible by boat. The tourists often included in his itinerary, and there are regular lines to individual travelers, which can be taken together with the city or along the Park Huagang. Pavilions and lakes of the interior of the island clearly shows the beauty of the place.

Ling Yin Temple - Temple of Soul's Retreat

is one of the most important temples in southern China, and one that offers visitors more. Before coming to the wards themselves, is "The Hill Flying", with impressive stone Buddhist sculptures. The temple is usually full of faithful, some arriving from distant lands. It is easy to envisage a religious ceremony.

Another of the main attractions is the Hanzhou Pagoda of Six Harmonies, built in the year 970 and named following the name of a Buddhist temple nearby. His name has to do with the preaching of Buddhism, harmony of body, mind, of words, opinions, poverty, and abstinence.

The Tomb of General Yuefei
norocidental on the corner of West Lake, is only visited by the Chinese, who see this hero, unjustly accused and executed, the prototype of a patriot.

House Guo, a little away from the main tourist routes, despite being located on the western shore of the lake, is one of the best places to enjoy its beauty in peace.

The Museum of Pharmacy in the middle of the last remnants of the old city, recently restored and prepared for the tourist, however, maintains a certain interest.

Hong Kong the city of light

Hong Kong is an island, a world, colorful and compact, with more than seven million people live and work in a rush unmatched. Hong Kong is a showcase, a symbol, which has merged the concepts of the pure capitalist world created by the Europeans with a positive mindset and family passed by the Chinese throughout the generations. Hong Kong's history and today have been merged to recreate a single company in the East.
The turbulent history of Hong Kong, far from becoming a city gray and boring, have transformed it into a striking beauty of the Victoria Peak and the bay of the same name, evocative of a colonial past that end in a few days, are important part of that image. Between the sea and the mountains, just a few hundred meters to the man to conduct business, for business to flourish, to accommodate the engine of this wonderful machine to make money that has become the island.

The extension of Hong Kong is only 1070 km2, in general throughout the territory is very mountainous, with heights at the peak Taim Shan, a 958 m high. Located just south of the Tropic of Cancer, has a subtropical climate, with humidity in summer reaches 90%.
Victoria Peak, you can take a tram that takes more than 100 years in operation. There is a huge concentration of tourists, where you can be the best view of Hong Kong Island, the Bay and the peninsula of Kowloon. If it rises by tram, you can get off the bus, and vice versa.

Repulse Bay is a beach with a certain charm, too crowded, with a small Buddhist temple. A little further away from the city is Stanley Village, with a small beach in front of which there are a number of interesting buildings, now almost all converted into restaurants, and a good market.
Aberdeen, where it has been preserved from the seafaring tradition of Hong Kong, where many fishing boats, with families still living in them, and fish often tended to dry. It is curious to observe the activity of the settlements of fish, but to hang a little between the boats have to ride in one.

Like any big city, you have to get us to where andarla forces.
In the central district focus on trade and finance, its buildings stand proud, unique, materializing its excellence in a sea of glass, all served by an elevated network of passages that house the most elite stores. The Bank of Shanghai and Hong Kong (designed by Norman Foster) and the Bank of China, who, because of their situation, they highlight. Although the record high it has the Central Plaza, in the nearby district of Wanchai. All Central district is the holy temple of the money. Banks, offices and hotels, alternating the conquest of space, while women compete in the most elegant shops in the lower floors. Decisions made at the offices of Hong Kong will have an impact worldwide. There is a fierce fight by approaching the living brain of gold at the Central, causing a continuous rise in prices of offices. Every man, every inch must produce to be profitable. The work and space are scheduled for maximum profitability. The price increase makes it more profitable offices demolish Tenerife 20 or 30 storey building in place for offices, which keep them open, even when the price of a room in Hong Kong are among the most expensive in the world, and Demand for rooms will grow at a steady pace.
On the island of Hong Kong, in addition to the Central district, home finance, Wanchai district is of great interest. In 3 parallel streets that are the same, are also the more vivid contrasts of the island. Luxurious newly built towers used to support other decrepit, with paint falling, walls crammed with balconies give an idea of the density of its population.

Ocean Park - Zoo , a hundred meters higher than Central. And that takes time to really, you can spend a day or at least one morning to find Ocean Park on the way to Repulse Bay, one of the largest water parks in Asia.
In Kowloon, the peninsula, separated from Hong Kong by the bay, but united by 3 underground tunnels, the tourist resort par excellence, the city grows, renewed, upgraded, light eyes. Kowloon is the hub of the famous Nathan Road, with thousands of shops in it, is a paradise for shopping, but the real opportunities will be better in the emerging network of streets on the sides of it. A stroll along Nathan Road gives an idea of life that is a showcase of Hong Kong, thousands of people are busy, buy, walk, eat. In short, the insanity of the small broker, who must sweat every day to scrape the dollars that will enable it to approach the world of the truly privileged.

Temple Street. On the streets barely moving car, leaving your site to elderly patients who roam the streets in search of the fresco. Some restaurants have invaded the streets and shops, away from the plastic and neon, is life in all its fullness. In the carnage, a row of freshly
slaughtered pigs waiting to be distributed among the buyers, store spices and dried food place in harmony of smells, and be happy enough to go to a pharmacy and request a drug that satisfies our desire. At night, on that same street, an improvised market products of all types and origins, to taste of the tourists who always swarm around the city, and a little farther away from this passage, the restaurants on the street serve a really low price of seafood daily. For those who consider that this market is not enough, you can approach the Jade Market at Kansu Street, only in the mornings or at Bird Market, Hong Lok Street.

Lantau Island is another world. Along the road that winds into the mountains to rise, the landscape evokes not Hong Kong, but the Mediterranean. Small towns of houses, shops calm that rested in the morning sun. And some cars circulating calm. At the end of the road, suddenly from behind a mountain landscape, we have the largest bronze Buddha in East Asia, the Po Lin Monastery. You can eat at the temple, and start back to town. On the island there are several temples and a little more modest accommodation in Hong Kong.
